TUM’s historic Main Campus is located in Maxvorstadt, a central urban district of Munich. Here the Electrical and Computer Engineering faculty is located within walking distance of numerous internationally known museums, galleries, theaters and other highlights.
​
The biggest lecture hall, the Audimax can seat over 1.100 people and, with the attached foyer, offers a great opportunity for congresses and events. The open inner courtyard will be equipped with a large event tent and the many other lecture rooms offer plenty of options for technical sessions, workshops and tutorials during the conference. The central location of the prestigious campus also offers easy reachability by public transport.​​

The Registration Desk, Exhibition Area, and Food & Beverage area will be situated in a tent specifically set up in the central courtyard of the TUM campus, directly in front of the Audimax.​​
Directions to TUM Arcisstraße Campus (Munich City Center)
From Munich Airport (Flughafen München)

Take the S-Bahn S1 or S8 from the airport toward Munich city center.

Disembark at Hauptbahnhof (Munich Central Station).

Transfer to the U-Bahn U2 (direction: Messestadt Ost).

Exit at Königsplatz station.

Walk approximately 5 minutes southeast along Luisenstraße to reach Arcisstraße 21, the main TUM campus building.

From Munich Central Station (Hauptbahnhof)

Take the U-Bahn U2 toward Messestadt Ost.

Exit at Königsplatz station.

Walk about 5 minutes to Arcisstraße 21.
Alternatively, you may walk directly from the central station to the campus in 15–20 minutes via Dachauer Straße or Luisenstraße.

Walking Directions from Nearby U-Bahn (Underground) Stations:

From Theresienstrasse Station (Augustenstrasse exits): Walk east along Theresienstrasse for 300 meters. Enter through the arched entryway, then walk south for 50 meters along the path to reach the Audimax TUM building.

From Stiglmaierplatz Station (Stiglmaierplatz exits): Head east along Briennerstrasse for 500 meters until you reach the Königsplatz arch. Turn left onto Theresienstrasse, then right onto Gabelsbergerstrasse. After 100 meters on the north side of the street, enter through the arched entryway and walk north for 100 meters along the path to arrive at the Audimax TUM building.

From Universität Station: Walk south along Ludwigstrasse and turn right onto Theresienstrasse. Continue west along Theresienstrasse. After crossing Arcisstrasse (about 1 km), turn left through the arched entryway and follow the path to the Audimax building.

From Odeonsplatz Station: Walk north along Ludwigstrasse, then turn left onto Theresienstrasse. Proceed west along Theresienstrasse. After the Arcisstrasse intersection (about 1 km), turn left through the arched entryway and continue along the path until you reach the Audimax building.
