CERTIFICATE OF ATTENDANCE
Certificates must be requested to esserc@sistemacongressi.com after the Conference.
LANGUAGE
The official language of the conference is English: no simultaneous translation will be available.
REGISTRATION DESK
The Registration Desk is located at the main entrace of the Conference Venue.
Due to the large number of registered participants, we invite all attendees to arrive well in advance to avoid queues and delays.
The registration desk will be open:
MONDAY 08:00 - 17:30
TUESDAY 08:00 - 18:00
WEDNESDAY 08:00 - 18:00
THURSDAY 08:00 - 13:00

BADGES
Badges must always be visibly worn during sessions, coffee breaks and lunches at the conference site but also during social program activities.
COFFEE BREAKS AND LUNCHES
Coffee breaks and lunches will be served to registered participants wearing their badges. Accompanying persons have no access to scientific sessions nor to coffee breaks and lunches.
Please note that vegetarian dishes will be on daily menu; for other special needs, we will try to serve a good variety of food so that it will be easier for you to get some alternatives in case of special diet restrictions.

PERSONS WITH SPECIAL NEEDS
Every effort has been made to ensure that people with special needs are catered for during the conference. Should you require any specific assistance, please let us know in advance to enable to assist in making your stay at the conference a pleasant and comfortable one.

The local currency is € (Euro). Automatic teller machines and exchange offices are available all over the city. Most hotels, restaurants and shops accept major credit cards but please always check first!

WEATHER
In mid-September, the weather in Munich is generally mild and pleasant. Average daytime temperatures range from 15°C to 22°C (59°F to 72°F), while nights can be cooler, typically between 8°C and 12°C (46°F to 54°F).
It can be partly sunny with a moderate chance of rain, so a light jacket and an umbrella are advisable.

CALLING CODES
To call Germany from abroad:
dial +49 (country code for Germany), followed by the area code without the leading zero, then the subscriber number.
Example: To call Berlin (030) from abroad: +49 30 xxx xxxx.
To call abroad from Germany:
dial 00 (international access code from Germany), followed by the country code, area code, and subscriber number.
Example: To call France: 00 33 x xx xx xx xx.
EMERGENCY NUMBERS
In Munich, as in all of Germany, the main emergency numbers are standardized and can be dialed free of charge from any phone:
Police (Polizei): 110 for reporting crimes, accidents, or requesting police assistance.
Fire Brigade and Ambulance (Feuerwehr und Rettungsdienst): 112 for fire emergencies, medical emergencies, or rescue services.
These numbers operate 24/7 and can be dialed from mobile phones and landlines without needing a prefix.
